Yes! We ship and pack our products using 100% recyclable material. We believe in being as environmentally friendly as possible, so no plastic, styrofoam, packing peanuts, etc... are used when shipping our products.

Yes, Nephew does not add anything to our furniture that isn't food-safe and non-toxic.

Nephew uses all natural non-toxic wood finishes. We primarily use Odies Oil, Odies wood butter, and Odies Wax. The oil and wood butter brings out the brilliant colors of the wood while also giving the surface some water resistance. The wax is applied on top of the oil/butter to provide a hard surface for extra durability. Over time the furniture will need a refresh to bring back the durability of the coating and sheen of the wood. This can easily be done by applying more Odies wax every year or so. These products do not create a rock hard surface and will not protect the furniture from small dings or scratches, such as a pre-catalyzed lacquer or a conversion varnish will.
